Heavy rain, warnings of flash floods in Southern California force evacuation orders, warnings
Evacuation orders and warnings have gone into effect for burn scar areas across Southern California as heavy rainfall threatens dangerous debris flows.
UPDATE: City announces several road closures with Flash Flood Warning in effect for Clarksville until Saturday afternoon
The Clarksville-Montgomery County area is currently under a Flash Flood Warning until Saturday, at 12:15 p.m., while also having a Flood Watch remain in effect until noon tomorrow.
UPDATE: Flash flood warning forecast to expire at 9:15 a.m., says the NWS
"Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. A Flood Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. Saturday for portions of central and northern California," states the NWS San Francisco CA. The warning is in effect until 9:15 a.m.

On Saturday afternoon and evening, we'll see increasing thunderstorm chances, and that's when we'll have the chance for strong to severe storms.

An updated flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 10:49 p.m. in effect until Thursday at 2 a.m. for Coosa, Shelby and Talladega counties.
