Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is officially out against the Dallas Cowboys for Sunday's Week 17 game. Hurts remains in concussion protocol, meaning Kenny Pickett will be the starter. Eagles fans had their holiday season somewhat spoiled when Hurts exited Philadelphia's Week 16 showdown against the Commanders early after suffering a head injury.

Kenny Pickett replaced Hurts and completed the touchdown drive that gave the Eagles a 14-point lead. But the lead vanished as former Eagle Olamide Zaccheaus burned them for two touchdowns, including a 49-yard TD early in the fourth quarter that gave the Commanders a 1-point lead.

Jayden Daniels threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Jamison Crowder with six seconds remaining and the Washington Commanders beat the visiting Philadelphia Eagles 36-33 on Sunday. Philadelphia's Jake Elli
