The Israeli military has taken control of the Madleen, a sailboat carrying activists and a small amount of aid bound for the Gaza Strip, after intercepting the vessel in international waters Sunday evening.

Israeli forces are accused of illegally seizing the Madleen in international waters and abducting its dozen civilian passengers, including activist Greta Thunberg.

Israeli forces abducted activists aboard the aid ship Madleen heading for Gaza on Sunday night, said the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.
