Output is a stout 610 hp (circa 8250rpm) and paired with 413 lb-ft. of torque, an increase of 58 ponies and 15 lb ft. of twist over the outgoing LP 560-4.

Thanks to the Gallardo's lightweight construction utilising much aluminium and a forest of carbon fibre, it weighs in at 1340kg, 70kg lighter than the standard LP 560-4.

Braking is via a carbon ceramic system. The carbonfibre rear wing also comes straight from the race car, and is said to create up to three times as much downforce as the standard Gallardo LP 560-4.

The Squadra Corse has a total weight of 1,340 kilograms, which places it at 70 kilograms less than the 560-4 and equal with a couple of other Lamborghini models.

The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is priced at Rs. 2.61 crore while the LP570-4 Edizione Tecnica would set you back by Rs. 2.92 crore (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).

The LP 560-4 debuted in 2008 and was 40 PS more powerful than the previous Gallardo. The smallest car Lamborghini has ever made, it has also been the company's most successful model.
