The eight teams in Omaha have combined for 74 appearances in the College World Series and 16 national championships.

The two most talented teams are also the two highest seeds to get there -- No. 3 Arkansas and No. 6 Louisiana State -- and they have to face off in the first round. No. 8 Oregon State is the third national seed on hand.

While this year's Men's College World Series field has no teams that made it to Omaha in 2024, there's a still a mix of teams with championship pedigree and programs making their first trip to Charles Schwab Field.

Day 2 of the Men's College World Series features the four teams playing in the second part of the bracket at Omaha. In the afternoon, Murray State will face UCLA. Then SEC rivals LSU and Arkansas will play in the nightcap.
