The Cincinnati Bengals once again have a star player who is not taking part in mandatory minicamp, and Joe Burrow wishes that were not the case.

Burrow had the best statistical season of his career in 2024 and there is little reason to believe he can't repeat it if everyone stays healthy. He led the NFL in passing yards and passing touchdowns while posting efficiency rates that were not that far outside of his career norms.

Patrick Daugherty of NBC Sports took a look at all of the general managers in the NFL recently and ranked them from 1-32. He put Bengals’ director of player personnel Duke Tobin at roughly middle of the pack at No. 17.

The latest comes from NFL analyst Warrren Sharp, who revealed that while the league average time to throw is 2.7 seconds, Burrow was hit by defenders in less than 2.5 seconds 148 times, with no other passer in the NFL above 119 times.
