The state Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the body has been identified as Andrew Tyler Sweitzer, 33, of Garrett County, Maryland. Authorities said Sweitzer had been living in Morgantown.

The remains were originally found by construction workers in a wooded area between Scott Avenue and Smithtown road.
