There are fears that huge potholes in Devon could cause a serious accident. Locals say they have reported two particularly treacherous stretches of road in East Devon but they have yet to be repaired.

A Devon resident has branded the pothole-ridden road outside his home a "disgrace". Justin O'Neill, from Compton near Paignton, says it looks as if Widdicombe Lane has been "hit by an earthquake".
