Gov. Mike DeWine ordered some of Ohio's U.S. and state flags to be flown at half-staff Tuesday to honor slain Morrow County Sheriff's Office deputy Daniel Sherrer.

Deputy Daniel Sherrer was shot and killed while responding to a domestic situation in the 100 block of County 26 in Marengo.
