PHOENIX — A SWAT team helped arrest a man in Buckeye on Monday night near Miller and Southern roads, authorities said.
Richard Vannostrand was taken into custody at about 5:15 p.m. after New Hampshire State Police SWAT officers used less-than-lethal force, authorities said.
City and state police, alongside U.S. Marshals, were on the scene Wednesday following a brief standoff in Jeannette that led to the arrest of a man who had violated his parole.
Salem police are now investigating the Oregon State Police SWAT actions in this matter, according to a press release sent out 1:19 p.m. Wednesday by Oregon State Police.
