SCOTT COUNTY, Va. — Update: Three escaped inmates from the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Duffield facility are now in custody after escaping Sunday morning, according to authorities.

DUFFIELD — Virginia State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding an apparent inmate suicide that occurred last month at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Duffield.
