In a nod to the final episode of "Inside the NBA on TNT," Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal cast themselves off to sea, along with the show's longtime crew and producers — and, yes, the New York Knicks — as part of their trademark "Gone Fishin'" segment.

After 36 years, the beloved NBA on TNT program will finally come to an end.

O'Neal is drawing pushback for his treatment of Johnson at the end of Saturday's broadcast, which came after the Indiana Pacers finished off the New York Knicks to advance to the NBA Finals.

“Gratitude is the operative word for me,” Ernie Johnson said after the game.
