Several months after a man was shot and killed in Savannah, a Chatham County grand jury has indicted the alleged gunman.

The attorney representing the city and officers said there is "no connection" between the indictments and a resident's claims of excessive force.

Rob Carter, now in the Clarke County Jail, has a bond of $122,000 and has been placed on administrative leave.
