Boeing received its first order after reaching a deal with striking machinists, but it still faces a difficult road ahead.

Avia Solutions Group, which leases aircraft and provides related services, has ordered 40 Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets, with an option to order 40 additional jets, the companies said in a joint statement on Tuesday.

Avia Solutions Group placed an order for as many as 80 Boeing Co. 737 Max jets as the aircraft charter operator prepares for growing demand for so-called wet leases during peak travel months.

Boeing says it will be several weeks before it fully resumes building passenger planes, as factory workers return following a strike that lasted nearly two months.
