Manager Bruce Bochy announced on Saturday the intention was to activate Pederson and start him at DH on Sunday.
Injuries continue to hit the Braves’ rotation. The latest setback is right-hander Grant Holmes officially landing on the injured list with right elbow inflammation on Sunday, a day after he complained of elbow tightness during his start against the Rangers on Saturday.
