The sounds of one of Chicago’s largest protests in recent memory reverberated throughout downtown Saturday, as tens of thousands gathered in a united admonishment of President Trump.

The Chicago No Kings rally comes as protests have ramped up against ICE and the Trump administration this week locally and in Los Angeles, where the National Guard and Marines have been deployed against the wishes of local leaders.

So-called "No Kings" protests took place in Chicago and across the U.S. on Saturday. The protesters gathered to reject "authoritarianism," according to organizers. The No Kings Day of Defiance is expected to be the largest single-day mobilization since President Trump returned to office.
