The Dallas Cowboys blocked the Chicago Bears from interviewing Mike McCarthy, which has fans losing their minds with the assumption he's staying in Big D.

Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy sat down to talk Tuesday. Later in the day, the Cowboys denied Chicago’s request to interview McCarthy for its head coaching vacancy. The two are related, based on what two people with knowledge of the impending discussions told The Dallas Morning News after the Bears made their request.

The Chicago Bears are searching every corner of the country it appears as they look for the next head coach of the franchise. The list, deemed unserious by some talking heads, is rather long and includes names from all walks of the league.
