Ukrainian officials say three people were killed and 13 were wounded when Russia attacked the country with waves of drones and missiles.

In a spectacular strike, Ukrainian MiG-29s targeted a Russian drone command centre deep behind enemy lines near Zaporizhzhia.

The attack originated from Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, with Ukrainian air defenses downing 23 drones through direct fire and suppressing or losing track of 20 via electronic warfare.
