Viterbo University student Eliotte Heinz's body was found in the Mississippi River after disappearing in La Crosse, prompting grief and renewed safety concerns in the college town.

The La Crosse Police Department (LCPD) says there was no suspicious activity involved in the death of 22-year-old Viterbo Grad Student Eliotte Heinz. The department said preliminary autopsy results show no indication of a crime.

A 22-year-old college student in La Crosse had been missing for three days. She was found in the Mississippi River in Minnesota about 13 miles away.
