That’s because Indiana is rolling, ranked No. 8 in the College Football Playoff rankings, and the Hoosiers have been clowning every team in its path not too dissimilar from how Michigan has the past three seasons. Thus, the 5-4, unranked Wolverines have an uphill climb in this tough battle.

Kurtis Rourke, QB: Indiana football fans were keeping a close eye on Rourke’s thumb last weekend. He needed surgery to repair a broken bone in his throwing hand, but was back in the lineup just two weeks after the injury occurred.

In the ACC, there were some big upsets last week. Miami is no longer undefeated as they fell on the road against Georgia Tech, and Pitt lost a home game against Virginia to lose their second consecutive contest. It was a tough week for teams at the top.

For the first time this season, the outcome was still in doubt in the late going as No. 8 Indiana held off Michigan in a tense 20-15 victory at Memorial Stadium. Indiana has done a fantastic job of pulling away against nearly all of its foes to take the game out of reach by the fourth quarter.
