The Fraternal Order of Police union said those who assaulted officers during the 2021 Capitol riot should serve their full sentences.

In interviews with a dozen Jan. 6 offenders who received pardons from Trump, they were largely grateful for his deliverance, but signs of remorse were in short supply, though a few others have expressed contrition.

In pardoning more than 1,500 supporters charged in the Jan. 6 attack, Trump went further than he had suggested just a month earlier.
