Duster attracted acclaim, sitting at an impressive 92% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, with Newsday calling the series "a fun throwback and a return to form for JJ Abrams". Common Sense Media suggested that while it "doesn't bring much new with its premise", it is "fun to watch the expertly chosen cast chew a little scenery".
Duster was just cancelled and we are NOT happy about it. We're losing another diverse, quality show, and it's upsetting.
The news comes less than a week after the show aired the Season 1 finale, with “Duster” having originally premiered on the streamer in May. The series starred Josh Holloway and Rachel Hilson and hailed from co-creators and executive producers LaToya Morgan and J.J. Abrams.
