Aurora Phelps​ was indicted in Nevada over a series of romance scams that allegedly led to at least two deaths and one disappearance in Mexico.

Aurora Phelps, a 43-year-old woman from Las Vegas, is accused of orchestrating a deadly romance scam. Masquerading as a caring companion on dating apps, Phelps allegedly lured elderly men, only to later drug and rob them.

Aurora Phelps, who is in custody in Mexico, faces 21 counts, including wire fraud, bank fraud, identity theft, kidnapping and one count of kidnapping resulting in death.
