Sony CEO Makes Bold Claim Why 'Kraven' and 'Madame Web' Were 'Crucified'

Madame Web, Kraven were ‘not terrible films’ destroyed by vengeful critics, says Sony boss
When asked about the splashy failure of the Spider-Man-adjacent Kraven, which has yet to cross the $20 million mark in the U.S. in its first two weeks, Vinciquerra admits the long-delayed superhero movie was “probably the worst launch” Sony had during his tenure. But he stands up for the Aaron Taylor-Johnson vehicle, calling it “not a bad film.”

"These are not terrible films" - Sony Pictures' CEO just doesn't get why nobody wanted to watch Spider-Man films that don't have Spider-Man in them
The reason was that the films were bad, Tony! Venom was a hit because he's a prominent Spider-Man character, Tony! And also each of its sequels did worse than the previous one at the box office, because all the other Sony Spider-Man-less Spider-Man films were received so poorly! Come on!
