The Knicks needed a win so badly Saturday night that they sort of beat the Wizards twice. The electric second-quarter shooting of Mikal Bridges and significant contributions from some unlikely sources helped the Knicks build a 33-point second-half lead against the NBA’s worst team.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 31 points and 11 rebounds, Mikal Bridges scored 27 points and the New York Knicks beat the Washington Wizards 122-103 on Saturday night. OG Anunoby had 23 points and Cam Payne chipped in 13 for the Knicks,

The Dallas Mavericks have been dealing with a heavy load of injuries for the last few months, causing them to fall down the Western Conference standings. One of those big injuries was Anthony Davis suffering an adductor strain in his debut with the team after the Luka Doncic trade on February 8th.

NBA insider Marc Stein reported that the Mavericks may now have a return date penciled on their schedule. Stein reported that Davis is in “increasingly strong contention” to take the floor for the team's upcoming road stretch among Eastern Conference teams.
