South Florida ran a brilliant 1,600-meter relay to close the NCAA men’s outdoor track and field championships Friday night, leaving Southern California and Texas A&M tied for the team title

The men’s team championship at the 2025 NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships came down to the final event. While South Florida’s 4x400-meter relay team won the title with a time of three minutes, 0.42 seconds, it was a second-place finish by Texas A&M (in 3:00.73) that helped the Aggies pull up to the No. 1 spot.
