The fact that the Canucks are talking to rival teams about their top two centers, Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller, has shaken up the top of the Big Board. Trading either of those players, or even both of them, would be a bold decision for an organization with no designs on retooling, let alone rebuilding.

According to reports, Peter Laviolette and the New York Rangers made a bold offer to the Vancouver Canucks, but the Canadian organization turned down what would've been a blockbuster trade in the NHL.
