Oregon track & field is hosting the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet at Hayward Field this week. Here's what you need to know

For the home town Oregon Ducks, the 800-meter semifinals were a highlight of the day. Freshman Koitatoi Kidali finishing second in one minute, 45.31 seconds and senior Matthew Erickson finishing fourth in 1:45.89 as both qualified for Friday’s finals.

Although the Oregon women won this year’s NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, they come into this meet ranked 5th. The Duck's strongest event is the 1500 meter race, where Klaudia Kazimierska is seeded 6th, Silan Ayyildiz is seeded 7th, and Mia Barnett is seeded 21st of the 24 qualifiers.
