Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) warned Democrats not to underestimate former President Donald Trump’s formidable following in Pennsylvania, a battleground state Vice President Kamala Harris wants to win in order to secure the election this fall.

The Democratic senator on Thursday recalled realizing in 2016 the former president is 'really connected' to Pennsylvania.

Voters in Pennsylvania are not yet able to cast ballots, despite confusion over a state law concerning applications for mail ballots.

The Republican National Committee argued that counties do not have the authority to allow voters in the swing state to correct ballots that do not comply with the rules.

Pennsylvania is considered a critical state in the presidential contest. The Supreme Court took up the appeal from a Commonwealth Court decision just two weeks ago that said Butler County had to count provisional ballots from two voters who had received automatic emails before the April primary telling them their mail-in votes had been rejected because they were so-called “naked ballots” that weren't enclosed in the provided secrecy envelope.
