A 15-foot reticulated python caused panic in a Garland neighborhood by trapping a man on top of his truck before animal control officers safely captured it.

The python eventually slithered into the engine of a nearby truck, and Jaramillo lured it out by making loud noises. After about two hours, he was able to capture the animal using a net and catch pole. A co-worker delivered a tote bag large enough to hold the snake.

A North Texas animal control officer got a big surprise when he was called to help remove a snake and encountered a 15-foot python.
