Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says deportation flights from the remote Everglades immigration lockup known as Alligator Alcatraz began in the past few days.

The first deportation flights out of Alligator Alcatraz have begun, with about 100 detainees being removed from the country in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security, Florida officials said.

Alligator Alcatraz is the migrant detention center near the Florida Everglades. New aerial video shows the "small city in the swamp."
