The Cannes Film Festival has played host to the directorial debuts of three stars. The films from Scarlett Johansson, Kristen Stewart and relative newcomer Harris Dickinson are very told but the fulfillment of longtime dreams of being behind the camera.

Scarlett Johansson said in an interview at the Cannes Film Festival that she would be open to potentially directing a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie when asked if she would consider directing a major action movie or Marvel film.

Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson says she would like to direct a Marvel film. Johansson recently made her directorial debut with "Eleanor the Great", which had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20.
