In one year, New Mexico's drought conditions increased, jumping to extreme drought conditions by 35 percent in parts of the state.

It has been 10 years since a tornado struck the town of Delmont, destroying a large part of town and leaving its residents to pick up the pieces. Since then, Delmont has been on the path to recovery.

The crash happened around 8:50 a.m. near the Kaonohi Street overpass in the freeway’s westbound lanes of travel.
