The 47-year-old suspect hit four people with his Honda on Sunday, killing one of them, before officers shot him on Interstate 275, police said.

Police officers in Denver continued searching for a second suspect linked to a deadly shooting early Monday morning.

The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, got into the stolen car, refused to exit and fired multiple shots at officers, the Arvada Police Department said.

Luis Fuentes, age 39, of Lancaster, was identified by the Lancaster County Coroner’s office as the man who died in the hospital after being shot by police. He wielded a machete during the Friday robbery,
