The rideshare and delivery company announced that starting this spring, it will join forces with Delta Air Lines in a multi-year partnership, in which SkyMiles Members can earn miles while riding with Uber and ordering Uber Eats in the U.S.

Delta Air Lines' SkyMiles members will be able to earn miles for Uber rides starting this spring. With the new deal, the airline is ending an eight-year partnership with Lyft. Delta's credit card partner American Express also offers Uber credits with some of its cards.

Delta SkyMiles members who link their accounts to Uber will now earn points on Uber rides and Uber Eats orders.

Delta will link its SkyMiles program to Uber, both companies announced at the CES conference in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

SkyMiles members who link their account to the Uber app will earn one reward point per dollar spent on UberX rides to and from airports, two points per dollar on premium Uber rides and three points per dollar on Uber Reserve rides.
