So much so that in 2016, almost 40,000 Kiwis banded together to buy the beach from a private entity for more than $2 million and donated it to New ... the South Island, head to Wharariki Beach ...

And it turns out the spot is from New Zealand. It's right along the northern coast of the South Island to be exact. The beach is called Wharariki Beach. And it looks out on Archway Islands.
