Update [Tue 19th Nov 2024, 6:15am]: As promised, Ubisoft has released the 60fps patch for Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It's available to download now on PS5 (and PS5 Pro, of course), doubling the PS4 title's frame rate for a much smoother experience.

A new update for Assassin's Creed Syndicate has enabled support for up to 60fps on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro. It is available to download today and comes in at 31.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate, a ninth mainline installment of the action-adventure stealth series that Ubisoft released nearly a decade ago, is getting a new console patch on November 19 that will enable the game to run at 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S,

Proper PS5 support has been a hot topic amongst diehard Syndicate fans for a long time, so it's nice that Ubisoft has eventually delivered. You may recall that the publisher updated Assassin's Creed Odyssey for PS5 several years ago, and did the same with Assassin's Creed Origins a little later, in 2022.

Blimey guvnor! Ubisoft has only gone and slapped a shiny ol' update on Assassin's Creed Syndicate, that game set in Victorian London. Ahem. First released in 2015, it's something of a surprise to see Syndicate get an update now.
