A potentially deadly situation was averted in California last week after the heroic actions of police helped to save the life of a baby locked inside a hot car.

A baby left in a car on Tuesday has died, according to Jennings Police. Police report that the 10-month-old child was left in a hot car for about 90 minutes while the child's mother worked at Wendy's.

As temperatures start to heat up, the Corona Police Department is issuing an important reminder to not leave your kids alone in the car.
