COSBY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Great Smoky Mountains National Park will close the Cosby Entrance Road for rehabilitation on Dec. 9, the park’s public affairs office announced in a news release.

GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WATE) — Great Smoky Mountains National Park officials announced Friday that the Cosby Area of the park has reopened to visitors after the completion of some infrastructure work.

Abrams Creek, Big Creek, Balsam Mountain, Cataloochee, Cosby and Look Rock campgrounds are all marked as closed on Recreation.gov. The online reason for the closures says "closure: administration." ...
