The Carnival Freedom cruise ship experienced its second fire in less than two years, and passenger footage caught the flames with smoke coming from the ship's exhaust funnel Saturday afternoon.

The Carnival Freedom cruise ship caught on fire Saturday afternoon and was forced to cancel two upcoming cruises. No one was injured, Carnival said.

A passenger who was onboard the Carnival Freedom during the cruise ship's second fire in less than two years over the weekend recounted a frightening experience at sea.

This is the second time this particular Carnival ship has caught on fire. During Saturday’s fire, two firefighters were treated for minor smoke inhalation.
