According to an affidavit, the assistant principal told a Tyler Independent School District police officer that she believed a parent had brought Jell-O shots to a classroom Christmas party.

“She said when it was time for the class to go to the cafeteria ... purchased from the local business and brought to the Christmas party contained drinking alcohol,” the officer said.

The assistant principal informed the officer that she suspected a parent had brought jello shots to the class's Christmas party, which was later confirmed via sick children and through lab testing.

According to KLTV, citing an affidavit, 33-year-old Teresa Isabel Bernal of Tyler, Texas was taken into custody after she allegedly provided alcoholic Jell-O shots to a class Christmas party.

Last month, a Texas mom was arrested for sending spiked Jell-O shots to her fifth grade daughter’s class Christmas party in December.

“She said when it was time for the class to go to the cafeteria ... purchased from the local business and brought to the Christmas party contained drinking alcohol,” the officer said.
