Beach properties were flooded and damaged on Wednesday after large swells and king tide battered the Australian shore near Sydney, officials said Thursday.

Bondi, Bronte, Clovelly and Cronulla are among the beaches on the east coast smashed by huge swells. Hazardous surf warnings remain in place for many coastal areas across New South Wales too.
