Also running for Brighton were junior Brady Millington, who was 73rd in 16:16.8, and senior Bode Cooper, who was 146th in 16:38.7. “We gave it a really good shot today,” Langley said.

Brighton’s five scoring runners made the top 26, led by Tyler Langley’s 13th-place time of 15:51.7.

Brighton held on to the top spot in Division 1 and Pinckney raced to No. 1 in Division 2 in the latest high school boys cross country rankings.
