It is otherwise known as the broken sword or Curtana. This sword is to symbolise the sovereign's mercy. All the other swords are presented and held by various members of the Coronation party.

Most of these are unlocked via side quests or the main story, but some have been added to the game as DLC. The Curtana is one such weapon.
