South Carolina is moving forward with hundreds of miles of road improvements, including projects in Berkeley County, following a major vote by the state’s top transportation officials.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation approved the 2026 Pavement Improvement Plan, and it comes with some upgrades to major roads.
