Japanese-owned Nippon Steel has spent more than $6.1 million on federal lobbying efforts in its quest to take over US Steel.

The U.S. Secretary of Education will visit Massapequa High School on Friday to discuss the findings of an investigation into a 2023 ban of Native American imagery in public schools.
