An area fire department provides hands-on training, giving recruits a chance to prepare for what they’ll see in emergencies.

Environmental Health and Safety hosted a fire extinguisher training Thursday for University of Alabama employees.

Lake City firefighters say they completed a training session for a business in the community, Cancer Care of North Florida.
