The Sarasota branch of the National League of American Pen Women recently awarded scholarships totaling $17,000 to 11 high school seniors for their talents in writing, visual arts, and music.

The Sarasota chapter of the National League of American Pen Women recently honored 13 high school seniors at its annual “Launching Leaders in the Arts” awards program at Bird Key Yacht Club.

PEN WOMEN HONOREES: The National League of American Pen Women will present its annual celebrity luncheon on Feb. 7, 11 a.m., at the First Congregational Church, Hamilton and Leigh avenues in San Jose.
