A man was shot and killed in Fort Bend County last night and deputies say it stemmed from a case of road rage.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said the 31-year-old victim crashed into a tree after being shot and died at the hospital.

Chelsey Rose, who was critically injured and recovered after the shooting, was given a Purple Heart Award by the Big Bend Law Enforcement Officers Association.
