The system, rolled out in 2021, requires visitors to purchase in advance a $2 vehicle entry ticket in addition to the standard $35 park entry pass to enter certain places.

A vacation home built in Glacier National Park next to McDonald Creek will not be torn down because the Montana agency that brought the case has no jurisdiction in the national park, a federal judge ruled Monday.

New this year, people will have to select a two-hour window for when they will enter a given area on their preferred day. Many Glacier will be closed to vehicles.
